Qualifications & experience
- Possessed good attitude and highly responsible
- Have a mindset of pursuing high quality and self improvement
- Preferably with at least five years of bakery experience, especially in cookies bakery
- A minimum education qualification of at least SPM or equivalent is required
Tasks & responsibilities
- Handling and overseeing the production process to ensure that quality standards are consistently met, including ingredient preparation, mixing, baking, decorating to final packaging
- Developing and refining new cookie recipes and improving existing ones
- Leading and managing a team of kitchen staff and junior cookie baker and providing guidance and training as needed
- Implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and presentation in the kitchen, adhering to health and sanitation regulations
- Managing and monitoring inventory level of ingredients and supplies, ordering stock as needed
- Collaborating with the Company to develop seasonal menus and diverse cookie flavors to cater to customer preferences
- Ensuring proper maintenance and functionality of kitchen equipment suck as ovens, mixers, and utensils, arranging repairs or replacements as needed
- Other ad hoc duties, such as assist with additional tasks as needed
